Lux Coder
ASCII Metal Wall Portrait
Shoggoth's Craft
Source art for the Lux Coder design. Final metal pieces will be precision-cut by the artisan, translating these ASCII characters into physical form.
The concept
The coder archetype — anonymous, absorbed, luminous.
A hooded figure sits in the glow of a screen. The face is hidden. The posture is unmistakable — hunched forward, locked in, building something. This is the universal image of the person behind the code: anonymous by choice, defined entirely by what they create.
Rendered in ASCII — the native art form of text-based computing — and then cut into metal by a craftsperson whose tools predate the internet by centuries. What exists as ephemeral text on a screen becomes a wall piece that lasts generations.
The contrast is the point. Digital culture's most transient medium, made permanent in one of humanity's oldest materials.

As with all handcrafted commissions, finished pieces reflect the artisan's interpretation. See the artisan's portfolio for style reference.
Duty and shipping estimates are based on publicly available tariff schedules and typical carrier rates. Actual duties are assessed by your country's customs authority and may differ. ShoggothCraft provides these estimates as an informational courtesy — we do not collect duties or guarantee costs. You are the importer of record for international orders.
Clicking "Order from [Artisan]" opens a pre-drafted email in your email client. Your message is forwarded to the artisan via a @shoggothcraft.com address — they reply directly to you. ShoggothCraft does not read, store, or access any emails. Your order is with the artisan, not with ShoggothCraft.
Prices are approximate and based on the artisan's last-known rates. Final price — including shipping to your location — will be confirmed directly by the artisan when you place your order.
